Another electrical quandry...

I've been on a weekend trip. Everything worked great. Came home, plugged into my 30 amp shore power, flipped breakers on...Nothing. Went out and started at the receptacle connection...Good. (already learned you ALWAYS start there) Checked lights on ESP...All green. Checked cord connection to esp...Good. Tried again...Nothing. Checked shore power with a voltage meter...Good. Removed ESP and plugged TT cord straight into receptacle...Everything worked. HOWEVER, now my GFCI is blinking red and making a clicking noise on each red flash. Turned power off at TT breaker. RE-plugged in my ESP. Turned TT breakers back on...No power. Once again, removed my ESP from the mix (Plugging TT cord in without ESP) and I have power, but a blinking and clicking GFCI. I looked it up online and it said red blinking GFCI's indicated a bad GFCI. However, that doesn't (in my non-electrical savvy brain) make any sense, since everything works when I plug in without the ESP, except my GFCI. Thoughts???

Have you inspected the Ground and Neutral connections?

I haven't, but all the lights on the ESP were displaying correctly with no indication of fault.

assume that you just came from a campground, plugged into pedestal and everything worked fine... then you came home and plugged into a HOME-WIRED 30AMP receptacle?
Correct so far?

So how do you know that the HOME-WIRED plug is wired correctly?

Have you ever used this shore power at home before?

How about you give us a model and year of your RV...

Define 'nothing'. On the AC side there are typically a few separate circuits, the GFCI protected outlets being one of them. The microwave and fridge are often on their own circuits. You may want to disable all AC branch circuits via the breakers and turn them on one by one, if they don't work you need to look upstream of the converter/power distribution box.

Nothing, meaning no power through GFCI or through main or any other breakers when ESP is plugged in, but the three green lights are all on. I plugged a fan into a GFCI plug, to be sure.

All circuits were turned on one by one, starting with the main.
