Still will eat up battery power a lot. It's the most inefficient appliance in RVs, both in 12v power and propane.

Confirming the battery monitor from Victron is the BMV 700 or 702 for heat measurements as an add on. The Victron makes some of the best components in the business. You will find them in million dollar Saber yaughts .
