Batteries dry!

Just checked the house batteries on my 2011 3021ds class c. All dry except one cell!
First, should I assume they both neef to be replaced ( that is my thought).
Second, any brand or model recommendations?

Thanks
Larry

I would go with something like this for brand name and then the six volt deep cycle.

Chances are the batteries are ruined but nothing is lost to fill with distilled water and try to recharge. They will never be as good as new but how much capacity do you need? If you never dry camp they may get you by for a while. On the other hand they may give off lots of gas and set off your LP/CO alarm.

Again not much to lose.

Others can recommend replacements.

Get new ones. Don't try to add distilled water then charge. You may be risking an exploding battery. Why risk the chance for the price of a couple of batteries that are junk anyway.

Any part of the plates that become uncovered, are now dead and will not be able to hold a charge. So, it sounds like your batteries are shot based on what you reported.
