Battery connection question

looking for some direction and assistance. I have a 2009 Sunseeker. Recently the propane alarm located just inside the RV by the door tweets. The problem is not caused by the presence of propane...the problem appears to be a loose connection from the battery off on switch. I replaced the red toggle switch but the tweet still occurs when I drive over a rough road or walk down the stairs. I expect there is a loose wire inside the battery on off switch just inside the door. My question is do I need a repair technician or can I attempt to take off the cover and reattach any loose wires? Thank you for any assistance.
