Battery Converter / charger

Hi all,
Recently bought a 2005 FR Salem 25ft trailer. Batteries won't seem to charge. I have it plugged into shore power but they still won't charge...I have checked the converter box, all breakers are on...I haven't checked the fuses, but nothing was really labelled "converter" or "charger" or anything that would have made sense.

Took the unit to Les Schwab, they checked the batteries...told me that except for being really low on charge they appeared to be OK.

Not sure what to do now...any thoughts?

What converter make and model do you have?

If you have a wfco "most likely"
The four fuses on the left are for you converter.

In the "files section" here on frf theres a diagnostic section for wfco converters.

You'll need a volt ohm meter to diagnose.

Ps. Why didnt they dealer check your converter knowing there was an issue?

Pss you should start at your converter and work your way towards batteries in you diagnosis.

Thanks for your help! It is indeed a wfco, I *thought* I only remembered seeing two fuses on the left but I will check again tonight after work...

do you have a volt meter? Know what is 110 volts and know what is 12v when you start poken around.
