Battery disconnect

Hi Iam a new owner of a 2016 Forest River Surveyor 201 rbs Iam having trouble locating my battery disconnect any guidance would be helpful. Thanks.

Don't think Surveyors come with factory battery disconnect switches.

I recommend that you have one installed. Make sure that it is installed to completely disconnect the battery. Some disconnects will still allow vampiring by devices such as CO or LP detectors.

Until you install one you can just disconnect the negative cable. I did that for a couple of years before I broke down and bought a Marinco switch, about 20 bucks. Screws to the top or side of the plastic battery case. I wired mine on the negative side, but I believe either side works.

My 2016 220RBS didn't come with a battery disconnect. I installed one that shuts off everything except breakaway switch.
