Battery Disconnect switch knob broke

I have 2023 Geo Pro 19FDS, and the battery disconnect switch broke while turning it. Does any one knows the replacement part number or something compatible?

Thanks in Advance!

My "Flag style" only lasted 2 years

so I bought a "Marine grade" disconnect and moved it inside the pass through... out of the rain

https://www.google.com/search?client...ery+disconnect

PS left the original in place so the little kiddies in the campground can giggle all they want!

Thanks for the reply. Would you recommend an "Upgrade Battery Disconnect Switch with Voltmeter"?

Thanks!

A pic of this would help tremendously, as not every RV has the same switch depending on availability at time of manufacture.

Hello,

I am not near the RV today. I am planning on going camping next Monday, but don't have chance to get to it until weekend and I would like to replace it on Sunday before the trip on Monday.

worse case if you cant replace it in time...

just move the wires to be on the same terminal of the faulty switch
make Notes so you won't forget what wires you moved

You should be able to pickup a switch from a lot of local automotive stores marine stores or even hardware

Thanks! I already took the battery out to re-charge it before the trip. The RV is in under cover storage. I would like to replace it before the trip. Do you think a Battery Disconnect Switch with Voltmeter is a good idea? I am curious if it would drain the battery when not using it over the winter.
.
Thanks!

It depends on the quality of the disconnect switch. As Aussie said, true Marine quality is the best. However, will pay approximately twice as much. Look at Blue Sea products. Having a voltage display is also a nice feature. IMO, you can't have enough of them.

Thanks! Like my Mom stated , buy it once and buy it right. It isn't worth getting something cheap.

if you ever decide to go lithium voltage is not so much of a great indicator

Is the switch in a place you can easily see?
would not be hard to add a volt meter inside near your switch panel so you'll see it better?

OR... If you really want a good meter you can get a $60 shunt and it will keep better track of your battery usage...

Doesn't matter

It doesn't matter which wire goes where on a 2-wire switch. When you get the new one, just make sure one wire goes on each terminal.

never bothered to track where the second smaller wire went
just connected it to the same wire it was on... tied them together with zip ties

Other wire went to battery

It may go to the tongue jack. The disconnect with three lugs is usually for battery a,b and both. Should be labeled as such.

In that case...

In that case, you don't care which terminal the small wire is on, since it draws 0 current when the jack switch is off.

Two heavy wires on separate terminals.
The light wire on either terminal.

Well sort of. Here is the wiring for a three lug switch but really doesn’t answer the op question. Just for info.

I replaced my switch last year after the key broke. It was a bugger to get the old switch off. After I got the replacement, I realized that the replacements that you can find on both Amazon and Walmart would have worked on the old switch - assuming you find one that looks correct for what you currently have.

Another good source for replacements is your local boat store... They may also have replacement keys.

Personally, I don't think a switch with a voltage level display would be all that valuable.

Have fun on your trip!

Our switch went bad and had to be replaced. I found the exact same switch at Harbor Freight. It was under $10 and easy to replace (while lying on your back and working upside down) Not placed in the most ideal location.
