I took the battery out of my 2305s last fall and put it in the basement. I charged it and installed it last night. White to negative and red to positive and "nada". Any ideas?

Take it to an automotive shop, NAPA or any place that sells batteries and have a load test done on it.. That will tell you right away if it is still good.. Then you aren't wondering about it into the season...

How long did you charge it for? As Oldcoot said check it with a volt meter and see if you at least have 12.6 volts, as for the load test, a discharged battery will fail when all it really needs is to be charged.
