Battery monitors

Hey Everyone,

Looking for a reasonable battery monitor for my 2 -- 6V batteries that I have for my solar powered system -- would like to find one that is inexpensive and reliable but do understand that if i have to pay more $$ it is what it is !!

Thanks,
CanadianCamp

They're not the cheapest, but the Victron SmartShunt is cheaper than the Victron BMV. I have the BMV but would also be happy with the SmartShunt as I've literally never mounted the display and just coiled it up laying in my battery compartment.

I'm still using the solar charge controller to monitor battery voltage, SOC, and current flow. I know about advantages of Victron and others, still haven't found a need for it.

When you start boondocking more than staying in RV parks you will
