Battery Switch

I have a 2017 Keystone High Montana, it has 2 battery switches which I just can't figure why unless each one has a separate function which I don't know. There is one switch located above the dual batteries in front compartment and one switch located where your water hookup compartment. Both are on/off switches and of course no booklet or info with the RV. Thanks

well, since your Montana is not a FR product, i think you'll need to post pics of both switches.
i doubt if it came with a model-specific owner's manual, since nearly all RV manufacturers only provide a generic owner's manual.

did you buy new or used?

if used this is just a guess. the one in the water compartment may be the factory installed one that does not disconnect all parasitic loads. the previous owner may have installed one in the battery compartment that removes all parasitic loads. again just a guess.

The first pic looks factory while the second pic looks aftermarket.
I have NO clue why you have two disconnect switches except maybe the factory one is non-functional.

The second owner installed switch is connected to the box on the right. What is that box on the right?

An inverter?

I believe the box on the right is the cover for the cable TV connection. At least that’s what the one in my Leprechaun is. Flip,it open and there should be a coax connection. Or maybe that’s where the solar hooks up?

Looks like an inverter to me.

OP, can you post a pic showing that entire box?

Little black box is the cable. I assume that switch is for the trailer? Other picture switch in battery compartment is for the batteries?
