Battery voltage

Plugged into shore power this weekend. Batt voltage was same as always—-13.66v. Saturaday I noticed it was 14.55. Is that normal? Never did that before.
Problem with onboard charger??
Thanks

mine showed a similar number yesterday, at the point I was unplugging to leave the park... doesn't bother me, the higher the better.... if you'll also notice your dash battery charge level, it too goes up to 18 even!

some coaches, like mine, have the Magnum Inverter and the ability to use it's built-in Charger to 'Equalize' the House battery bank - during that four hours of managed 'overcharge', the levels exceed 15 or more volts.

No worries.

That's normal. 13.6 is typically a float charge and 14.66 is a voltage you would see during the absorption stage.

Most likely you have a WFCO converter, here is a PDF file explaining theory of operation.

one clarification. what you measured was not the battery voltage. it was the voltage being produced by the converter to charge the battery. this needs to be greater than the actual battery voltage. both voltages are normal from a modern 'smart' converter. they will alter the voltage they produce based upon how much charge the battery needs. some also go into an equalization charge periodically.
