Our first time boon docking at Lake Wolford in the CO mountains and after the first day I lost power to my microwave and fridge. I was thinking great... the transfer switch has lost a leg AGAIN!!!
I move the microwave to the counter and the fridge ran on propane. The last time the transfer switch failed it was under warranty so I didn't know where to look so I logged onto this forum and got a general idea of where to start my search... I dug around in the generator/battery compartment and found the transfer switch behind a piece of corrugated plastic, the same stuff my underbelly is covered with. I checked all the connections and everything was tight and everything was running back on shore power. So I was searching on the internet for a replacement when I thought about the generator breaker. Sure enough one had tripped. I reset it and powered up the generator after removing shore power and everything works! I hop the gremlin that caused it to trip found someone else to ride home with!
