Boon docking and my microwave and fridge lose power...

Our first time boon docking at Lake Wolford in the CO mountains and after the first day I lost power to my microwave and fridge. I was thinking great... the transfer switch has lost a leg AGAIN!!! I move the microwave to the counter and the fridge ran on propane. The last time the transfer switch failed it was under warranty so I didn't know where to look so I logged onto this forum and got a general idea of where to start my search... I dug around in the generator/battery compartment and found the transfer switch behind a piece of corrugated plastic, the same stuff my underbelly is covered with. I checked all the connections and everything was tight and everything was running back on shore power. So I was searching on the internet for a replacement when I thought about the generator breaker. Sure enough one had tripped. I reset it and powered up the generator after removing shore power and everything works! I hop the gremlin that caused it to trip found someone else to ride home with!

Congrats on your problem solving! Amazing, the tidbits you pick up on in this forum. Now if I could just recall all those tidbits when I actually need them, I would be ecstatic. So congrats on your memory also.
Happy RVing!

Congrats on figuring it out!

Now... get yourself a multimeter and learn how to use it so when those electrical gremlins pop up, you can quickly diagnose where the issue originates from. Takes a lot of the guess work out of the equation.
