Breaker tripped and then some

Well, dumb me, I had my 1500 watt electric heater running the other day then plugged in the blow dryer...oops..something popped. I went outside to the power post but breaker there was not tripped. hmmmm. Opened inside panel and one of the 15 amp breakers was tripped. I reset but...dang it!, still no power. Scratched my head and finally saw the GFCI outlet and thought maybe that was it.
Sure enough, when I tried to push the button in to reset, it wouldn't stay in. Quick trip to lowes for new GFCI outlet and I was back in business.
