Cannot find AC/DC converter
Hi,
I have a 2015 FR Forester mode 3051S, started getting low voltage beeps out of CO2 detector. Batteries are not charging while plugged into good 120V supply. Thought it would be behind breaker/fuse panel in stairway. Pulled that out and plenty of wires but no converter. Pulled all access panels I could find inside coach and all outside storage compartments. Should be simpler. I'm sure I missed something. Any ideas.
Thanks

Your converter should be an integral part of your circuit breaker box. Not sure on the 3051 but may be under the head of the bed.
Have you used a volt meter on the batteries to see what your level is. Should be about 13.4 volts if hooked up to shore power.

My converter in a SunSeeker 3100SS is separate from the panel and in the rear most storage compartment. It plugged into an outlet next to the circuit breaker panel which is accessed under the bed.

The converter in a 3051 is part (lower half) of the main AC/DC power distribution panel. The panel is below the refrigerator.
There are 5 screws to remove the cover 1 is inside the door.
The panel in the stairway is the battery control center. Their is a resettable DC circuit breaker in there for the DC output of the converter as well.

Thanks Steve-W.
Have pulled distribution panel out, no components - only wiring, breakers and fuses. Water heater and furnace components are under the refrigerator.
Also removed plywood and looked under the bed, finding only a couple of junction boxes and wires coming and going.
This is a 2015 model, so they must have located the converter somewhere else.
Any other ideas are appreciated.

Thanks, contacted Forest River. They sent a diagram, but it was for a 2012 model. It indicated the converter was under the bed - but that is not the case on ours.

Try to follow the heavy gauge red wire(s) in/out of the distribution panel. One has to go towards the converter.
Where is your distribution panel located?

Do you have a picture of the breaker box with the panel removed?

I have located the converter. It was buried behind stuff in the septic access pocket. I felt I had thoroughly searched all outside pockets, but it had to be somewhere. I want to thank everyone who helped with ideas. Humbled but happy.
Thanks
