Hi all, we are newbie campers with new Wolf Pup. We know the solar panel is supposed to recharge the battery. But... when the trailer is plugged into power, does that also recharge the battery? Thanks!
Typically most/almost all RVs will charge the battery when they are plugged into "shore power". (RV slang for plugged into the electrical grid)
Welcome to FRF!
Happy Camping!!
Edit- since you have solar and I'm not familiar with your specific rig- I cannot answer if there is any switch that needs to be set to change from Solar charging to shore power charging.

OEM solar charge systems on travel trailers are typically wired directly to the battery. No changes are necessary when the converter is also charging. It just charges a bit faster with both. Both the converter and solar charge controller should be configured to drop the voltage when the battery teaches full charge.
