Connecting two Yamaha Gen. for 30 amp

Just a couple of questions...

I have 2 Yamaha EF2000isv2 generators. I have the sidewinder cable to 'link' them together.

Are these steps the proper way to use them?

1. 'Link' the generators together.
2. Start up each generator.
3. Plug the TT into the 30 amp plug.

Is that the best way to do it? Seems like a pretty elementary question, but I don't want to blow up the electrical system in the TT.

Perfect. Thank you. I wish that paperwork came with it at purchase. Thank you!
