Crossed batteries
I have a 2000 Coleman Catalina and crossed my batteries. I read an older post on here about a guy who did the same. Now I have no 12v from the battery. I plug into 110 everything works fine. I’ve searched hi and lo for fuses and no luck. It has a magnetek 6300 q series converter in it. I can’t see any fuses on that. Any input would greatly be appreciated!!
Thanks nick

You should have one or two polarity fuses in your fuse panel.

You blew the Reverse Polarity fuses ( 30-40A) orange or Brown. In your distribution panel.
In Center under the Caution Label.
Once you replace the fuses. label the battery wires for next time

Did you check actual fuses or just visually check? You can also check the resettable breaker under the frame on the tongue. Push the small button on the end.

I visually checked each. And I don’t have a resettable breaker sadly

do you have even a cheap voltmeter?
trying to fix electrical issues is like closing your eyes when you work...
spend $5 at Harbor Freight or even Walmart and get one... then people here can teach you how to use it to test your connections and fuses...
a voltmeter is a basic tool to have in your toolbox

Since that post I have gone thru the fuses with a volt meter. They all test fine. I guess my next question is can the converter be bad? I’m not electrician by any means. But when 110 is hooked up everything works. Now for lights, pump etc. is it then converted to 12v or can they run off both. I’m sorry if everyone thinks I’m dumb and I really do appreciate the help. But I have literally tore everything apart to find any kind of fuse etc.. and found one 30 amp fuse by the battery and it was fine.

You essentially have two systems that are operating at the same time when you have the trailer plugged in.
The 120 volt system is powering the converter which is providing 12 v power to run lights, etc, and charge batteries.
You then have the battery which is either receiving power from the converter when charging or providing power to the 12 volt system when unplugged from 120 v.
I would suggest that the trailer be unplugged from the 120 v power supply first. Then with a voltmeter start at the battery and check every connection along the battery positive wire for the presence of 12 volt. If you lose that voltage at any point, like a switch, circuit breaker, fuse, or even a "Wire Nut/Butt Connector", you just found your problem. If you have 12 Volt at the converter + and - terminals when the trailer is unplugged, you have a defective converter if the voltage doesn't rise to well over 13 volts when the trailer is plugged in.
It's best to diagnose one section at a time or you'll get false readings.

There is a section in this manual on checking the internal transfer relay (sixth page down), which is what it seems like could be the problem.

Crossed batteries
I'd start from the beginning. How did you "cross your batteries"? Disconnect both batteries, then verify you have 12VDC across each of them, observing the polarity (-/+) on each post. Connect one to the coach and check for 12VDC. Connect the second one, observing and parallelling the battery connections with the first battery, and verify the 12VDC is still there. Next, check the heavy red and black 12VDC connections at the panel. It is possible that you lost a good connection between the battery terminal and post if there was an arc.

This pic does not show the big reverse polarity fuses we’re talking about. You may have to look on the sides of your converter.

Boondocking I did see that. Here is a pic of my meter. The top right dcv is what I had it on. Is that right? If so I’m reading zero on both with battery on. And 120 not hooked up

There are no reverse polarity fuses with that model converter.
