Dead 20amp receptacle
My dedicated 20 amp socket for the microwave has no power to it. The Microwave works plugged into a nearby 15 amp receptacle. The breaker has been checked. There is power to it. We have checked all the GFCI sockets. None are tripped. We pulled the socket out. The connections are good. There is no power to the wires. My only suspicion is the wire has broken somewhere betwixt and between due to fatigue with the slide going in and out. This is on a 2015 Cardinal 3875FB. It had been working for a number of stops and plug ins, but not now. Any solutions or shortcuts to identify the problem would be appreciated.

Have you crawled under the slide to look for obvious physical damage to the flex cable running to the slide?

Often the wires are run through a black corrugated outer shell. This shell is typically split and you can force the split open and pull out the wires to see them.
Don't do this with the power on!!! Laying on the ground and touching a frayed wire can ruin your whole day!
Good luck!
PS a patio mat makes a good ground pad when laying under your rig looking for trouble!

If this is truley to only outlet not working, look for a junction box under the rig near the slide. There has to be a flexable cable connection between the outlet and the circuit breaker. This would require a j-box.

One other thing...
Some units have a switch (and some a relay) that if you have an electric fireplace, you switch between the two but not both at the same time. When the fireplace is selected, the microwave outlet is dead. Something to check if you have a fireplace.

Hate to ask the obvious question but have you checked the microwave circuit breaker. Not just the switch handle on the breaker by turning it off and then back on (in case it's tripped), but for power at the breaker terminal.
In my TT the microwave is on a separate circuit all by itself. Breakers do go bad and sometimes connections at the breaker terminal are loose, even to the point they pull out of the breaker itself.
Best diagnostic practice is to start at the source and then work downstream to the point where you lose power. Cuts down on the "search area".

The resolution to this, was the wire had a bit of insulation rubbed through and shorted out. The microwave is in the kitchen slide, so the wire was in that bundle. We only found it when reworking the wire bundle for the slide operation. It had folded when the slide retracted so the bundle was rubbing on the tire.
Thanks to everyone that contributed!

I was just going through the list of issues resolved and unresolved and was embarrassed to discover that I hadn’t closed the information loop. Sometimes I disappoint myself. My apologies and thanks again for your help.

Hey! No apologies necessary. Life (especially 2020) has a way of getting in the way of answering internet forums!
Merry Christmas!
