Deep Cycle Batteries

I am looking at Two 6v Batteries, the Crown CR-235 and The Trojan T-105 Plus. I have heard good things about both and have talked to people with the T-105 Plus but not the Crown. Does anyone have any experience with the Crown Battery? Thanks and Happy Camping

Sorry, cant comment about the Crown but I do have a lot of the T-105's and I would not own a different brand. Very satisfied with their performance.

The best bang for the buck are the GC-2s from Costco (Interstate) or Sams Club (Duracell). Both are less than $100 each, and have a high turnover at the stores so you are getting fresh batteries.

The Trojans (I am not familiar with Crown) might give you 8 instead of 7 years (or 7 instead of 6) of good service if you treat them right.

I installed the Costco/Interstate GC-2s on my 2014 A-frame. They were still going strong when I sold the camper (with the batteries) 4 years later. I installed a 2nd set on my new A-frame that now has 1.5 years on it. I check the battery water before each trip - that's it for maintenance.
