Deep Cycle battery question

How long will a deep cycle battery last if we're sporadically using a light or two at night and a couple of box fans to keep us cool at night? This is our first time in a National Park campground, therefore our first time camping w/o a ready source of power. I have a jobsite generator, but that might be way too loud; even to run an hour during the day to recharge the battery. Any information or tips would be much appreciated.

deep cycle battery

If you have only one 12 volt battery you may get a couple days. Don't forget the fridge; the water pump'; the co detector; all use 12 volt power when you are dry camping. If you have to run the furnace then the battery will go down quickly. Going to two 6 volt golf cart batteries is the best if you dry camp often.

We can get about 3 days and then the battery is pretty well done. We National Forest Service camp most of the time and know what you mean. Thank you to being sensitive to others about generator noise. Not everyone is that thoughtful. If you camp like this frequently, you may want to invest in a Honda or Yamaha inverter/converter time generator. They are super quiet and provide nice clean power. We STILL try to minimize how much we use it and are very careful about the time of day; proximity to others.
