Dometic 3 button thermostat problem

I’m getting a code E1 which is loss of communication. Just installed a new control board and stat. Why is it not communicating?

Since you just replaced the control board and the thermostat, it's likely a bad connection. Did you try unplugging the RJ plugs and plugging them back in a few times. Also look at the contacts in the plugs and spring contacts in the receptacles to make sure they are lined up so they make contact.

Problem solved

I found my problem. The terminals in the stat were labeled 12+ volts, R10 and ground. They should have labeled it -12 volts instead of ground. I moved the -12 volt wire to the ground terminal and the orange wire from the board to R10 terminal which should have been labeled Comm.
Worked great then.
Thanks for your input.
