Electric Grease?
Somewhere in my fogged memory, I think there is a product (grease) for use on electrical connections. If this thought is correct, what is the name of the product? What type of store has it? Can it be used on, or in, the trailer plug going to the tow vehicle?
The trailer is a 2012, 2109S Mini Lite. The tow vehicle is a 2013, Silverado, 3/4 ton.
Thank. Robert

Robert,
Do a google on "dielectric grease"
There are plenty of products that provide protection from corrosion but are not conductive.
It is available at most automotive stores, and the big box stores.

a little grease is a lot! you only need a thin film on the contacts. When not using the connection, keep it protected from dust and dirt. That grease attracts dust like a magnet.
My 7pin has a dust cover on the truck side but the plug side I put under the propane tank cover.

dielectric grease
Thanks to everyone for the help. Home Depot is a few blocks away, so I will go visit them first.

Another source is auto parts stores. They sometimes can even give you small packets of them that comes with the bulk order of spark plugs. I have two or three of these little packets in my toolbox for each spring when i reconnect the battery and then add some to the 7-pin connector too before plugging into the TV for the first trial tow.

Bulb grease $1.30 for 14 oz. at autozone. A little goes a long way.

+1. Good stuff, and you don't need much.
Couple other ideas to keep your plugs happy:
- take a spare flat plug, fill each hole with bulb grease, cut off the wires, and use that to protect your trailer plugs when not in use
- those orange Home Depot buckets make nice trailer tongue covers
