Electrical issue

Help please !

2019 FR Salem 26DBUD
Was running a/c and Air fryer on outside outlet at the same time. The power tripped at the pole, have progressive, reset breaker, no errors, 0 amps, tried 50amp with adapter, same thing. Turned off 12v and 120v power to check connections, turned 12v back on, converter fan runs 2 seconds and shuts off, still no power. Any ideas?

If you have an adapter that will get you down to 110VAC, I'd try that and use a lamp, hair dryer, or something you have that is 110VAC plugged directly into the adapter at the pedestal. That will tell you if the pedestal has power. It's possible you've tripped the next breaker upstream of the pedestal. Do the folks around you have power?

Agreed. Also, have you checked your main breaker in the camper? Hate to ask, but sometimes it gets missed when the pedestal trips.

You have a Progressive EMS and no errors? Hmm...

Every pedestal in a CG is required to have a 15/20 amp receptacle. You could take anything 120 volts that plugs in (like hair dryer or the fryer) and see if it works to verify power at the pedestal.

Pedestals can have issues like open neutral, open ground, low voltage and defective breaker. Sounds like the breaker in the pedestal or in your panel has tripped, or possibly even part or all of the CG is down.

Low voltage in CGs is common, especially in warm weather with everyone running AC units. If you do get power back, I'd avoid running the fryer at the same time. An AC unit + fryer (depending on wattage) plus other things running on 120 volts can put you over 30 amp and trip the pedestal breaker. An AC unit draws in the range of 12 - 15 amp just by itself.

Yes and even hooked up without it. We have power coming into the trailer. Checked with multi meter and all breakers are hot. No outlets or 120v are putting out power.

Sounds like a GFI may be tripped. Have those been checked?
