Electrical problem

I have a 2012 Solera S. When I am plugged into shore power and house batteries on everything is fine, if I disconnect the batteries nothing works!
Shouldn't everything work while on shore power?
I'm attaching a couple of pictures from the power center and diagram, am I missing something? Like the converter resets?Click image for larger version

To answer you in one word; NO!

The reason this is that some of the components are 12V only and the battery is required for these regardless of shore power or not. The battery is recharged from your converter as the voltage drops below a certain set point and than the convert will recharge the battery as required.

This should be explained in your owners manual.

In 3 words I believe so. Your converter should supply the 12 volts to power the 12 volt items when the battery is disconnected. On all of my units I have been able to disconnect my battery while on shore power so the battery does not overcharge and all power is still supplied to the unit. Your set up may be different but I think it would be the exception rather than the rule.

Check the two 40A fuses ( usually orange). They are between the convertor and the battery to protect against reversing battery polarity.

Before doing this make sure the batteries are hooked up correctly.

Also reset the two mini-breakers at bottom left of first picture and try your scenario again.....

Is your converter working? My 2012 "S" will occasionally kick off the converter circuit breaker in the fuse/breaker box under the stove when I hook to shore power. 12 volt stuff will operate off battery, but batteries are not charging as the converter is not operating. Quick check - with batteries hooked up, disconnect switch turned "on", and shore power plugged in, press battery button on the control center. If the converter is operating, you should get 4 lights.

Where might I find this elusive WFCC T-30 converter ?
I have not even found the 40 amp fuses!!
Also I'm not seeing the mini- breakers in the lower left hand corner of my photo
I have a installation manual for WF 9800 Series Power Center but haven't found it either! Looks like the fuses are on the back of that, correct?

Believe the power center is the black plastic box containing the fuses and breakers under the stove. Cover pops off - finger nail slot on one side. Fuses and breakers easily accessed. Believe the converter is mounted under the bed. I think it can be accessed from the large external rear storage compartment by removing the inner rear and/ or side panels. These comments apply to our 2012 Solera "S".

Good to check the easy stuff first - confirm the breaker isn't tripped and see if the converter is working, as noted above.

You have two of those mini-breaker, try to re-set by pressing black button...

The converter is mounted on the refrigerator wall, with access through the under bed panel. There is a mod posted, that opens up the right side panel when opening the outside main storage bay door. I had modified the original posters cover panel. It really allows greater acess to the various components under the bed.
