Red face ems surge protector

I am wanting to install a EMS-HW50C in my 2016 315RST Prime Time Crusader and find little room behind the converter. Is there a better place to install it?

Thank You

ems surge protector

I put mine behind the converter. That was definitely the easiest place for the install. I disconnected the wire from main circuit breaker and connected that to the feed terminal on the EMS. I then added a short wire from the EMS out to that circuit breaker. The whole install took less than an hour. It doesn't need too much room. Mine was under the refrigerator. I pulled out the circuit breaker panel and the access panel and that gave me access from two sides.

I fabbed up some brackets to mount the EMS above the converter.
