They are nice quality ends that aren't actually manufactured by Camco. Camco just rebrands them. A m***n, err... happy camper cut through our site in their golf cart to get down to the lower field at a CG we were camping at 5 years ago and snagged our shore cable, and it ripped the cable clean off the male end and tipped over the powerpost in the process! Closest RV dealer had the Camco ends so that's what I used for a quick field repair and the CG owner loaned an extension so we could use another post. Camped 213 nights after the repair and never a problem with the Camco end! I just purchased two 30A sets (male-female) and am in the process of making my own 25' and 50' extensions too since I got a spool of cable for free. The only things I do that maybe not spelled out is that I immerse the contacts, after clamping the wires to them, with dielectric grease and then put the two connector halves together. Just to keep out moisture and air a little better so corrosion doesn't become an issue.
Oh, and yes, the family was banned from the CG for life and the owners no longer allow golf carts or similar except for those who are handicapped. Only takes one to spoil the fun!
