Ever wonder how much all your 12 Volt devices draw individually

I just finished a wire upgrade (see other thread) from Converter to Battery Bank. When I finished it was a good time for me to calibrate my Victron Battery Monitor for Zero Current.

With the monitor now giving me accurate current readings I decided to record some current values for individual items in my Micro-Lite 25 BDS. Here's what I found:

With nothing switched on, just the normal "overhead" for the stereo in standby, propane detector, etc, there is a .23 amp current draw from my batteries. Estimate 21 days for fully charged batteries to hit the 50% SOC mark with nothing else turned on.
  • Awning LED rope lite 2.01 amp
  • Porch Lite 1.6 Amp
  • Ceiling LED (1 Only) . 42 Amp
  • Dinette Lamp .57 Amp
  • Stereo (normal volume) .62 Amp
  • Refrigerator (Propane) 1.23 Amp
  • Furnace (Suburban) 2.92 Amp
  • Fantastic Fan (1) .15 Amp
  • " " (2) .55 Amp
  • " " (3) 1.22 Amp
  • " " (4) 2.67 Amp
  • Stove Hood Fan 1.31 Amp
  • Hood Lite 1.37 Amp
  • Inverter (No Load) .32 Amp
  • TV Amp .06 Amp

Just out of curiosity, it takes 19 Amp to move my slide in or out. Good thing it's less than a minute.

Some of the current draws were expected and some were surprising. The Fantastic Fan doesn't draw much at all on it's first two settings and the last two are significant if left on for any period of time. I found that the furnace draws less than I thought.

Anyway, these are the readings I got from my Battery monitor (Victron BMV 702) which may or may not match with other readings in other units. At least it should be a fair predictor of how much is coming out of your batteries if you don't have an actual current measuring monitor.

Your furance draws so little current when heating? Mine is 2.5x more than yours but it is a 10 year old model.

Surprised me too. The trailer is a 2018 so who knows what improvements have been made in 10 years. I will say that the fan doesn't have to move much air in the TT. Only two furnace ducts total. Maybe that has something to do with it.
