Extended Run Fuel Tank System

I wanted to start a thread on homemade extended run fuel supply system for generators. I needed a dual hose setup since I have two Hondas which can draw fuel from a tank. I built this system because the dual generator EU2000 systems for sale on eBay are around $160; I wanted clear hose to see fuel being drawn into generator; and I wanted marine quick disconnect fittings to minimize fuel spills and allow single generator use. I wanted to make the lines small since flow rate is minimal, unfortunately I couldn't find matching outboard fittings any smaller than 5/16 inch. I hope to use this when boon docking where it is hot and I want A/C overnight.

Anyone else built a homemade setup they want to share?

My total cost was $123.28, but that includes a fuel tank that was marked down $22
Here is a breakdown of costs:

My "extended run" tank for my Champ Dual Fuel Inverter.

Will keep me "running" for 72 hours continuously if desired.

In the past I've used two of these to keep warm when living in TT for the winter.

For most trips I just use 20# tanks for my "long run" needs but if I were to be boondocking in the desert during summer months, back to the 100# tank.

I have a Yamaha 3000EiB that I converted to Tri-Fuel Propane/Natural Gas/Gasoline that I use occasionally and for my Honda 2000C/2200 I have the Northern Tool dual generator fuel tank.
