How long will that take?

Agreed Adrian! That would be a decent thing to do. Scott, if I recall, the switch turns, but can't recall if I pulled it out or not. One thing for sure, none of the other things are working in the trailer after I turned the switch, namely the lighting and inverter.

Before changing up any wiring, I may re-connect and monitor to see exactly how long it takes to draw down the 2 6v batts, just for fun.

You missed what I was saying. I installed a true disconnect at the battery box, in the positive lead of my A-frame.

I ALSO installed a power switch in the stereo power leads. The power switch in the stereo itself does not turn the stereo completely off. When there is 12V power to the camper, the stereo will turn itself on whenever there is a voltage change on the power leads. Hence the need to have an external power switch for the stereo.

Fred, if you stopped listening to Lady Gaga at level 10, you wouldn't be so startled when the stereo comes on!

Know I'm a bit late to this convo....But, where is your solar disconnect? Did you add it or is it factory installed?

Hahahaha, Babock does not mess around with mass produced systems hawked by RV manufacturers. He has some home brew setup! In a good way.
