Factory solar panel disconnect

We have a factory installed solar panel in our 2021 21FBRS. We store our trailer in a outdoor lot. We would like to remove our 2 golf cart batteries and put them on a trickle charger at home over the winter, more as a theft protection measure. Since the solar panel will be receiving sunlight all winter, there something that must be done to turn off the solar panel first before we remove the batteries? This is our first experience with solar.

Nope. You could but a jar under the wire coming from the solar panels to catch all those stray electrons. But seriously, no, just leave them be.

Disconnect one of the wires going to the charge controller from the solar panel then remove the batteries. Next spring connect up the batteries then reinstall the wire back onto the charge controller.
