found battery reset switch

2017 Forest River battery would not charge. Converter appeared to be working and all fuses good.
Traced powered up to junction box on frame near tongue. Had power on converter side of junction box but not battery side.
I did not know that little junction box had reset button. I searched this forum and found out that it does have a reset button. That solved my problem.
It probably saved me from buying a converter.
I appreciate the information and wanted to share what I learned.

Hi and welcome to FRF!
Can you provide more information since Forest River makes around 100 different brands.
That way others that own your model, can benefit from this.
The 12v resettable circuit breaker with the black button, has caused problems for thousands of RVers and there are thousands of threads here about them.
Most are unaware that they exist nor where they are located.

Glad you got it solved, we keep a tutorial on this in the FAQ section. This link may also help as it has information on the 12 volt circuit breaker as well as other things that newer RV owners may commonly encounter or not know about:

Circuit breaker

That little box is a small, resettable circuit breaker. At some point, too much current was drawn and it tripped. It could have been when hooking up batteries with an active load (fans, lights, refrigerator on), or if a wrench accidentally touched something it shouldn't have.

If it doesn't recur, no problem.
