Hello again...

You guys were so helpful with tire questions that I thought I’d ask a generator question.

Flagstaff Microlite 21DS

What size genny for running AC, lights, and possible light microwave usage?

I’ve been eyeing the Champion 3400 Gen/Inv ...but was told by dealer to go at least 5500.

Thanks again for any experiences you may have to offer.

That Champion 3400 will run everything you have, although you may have to turn off the AC if you want to run the microwave at the same time.

I've got the Champion 3500, which is the exact same generator, except for the stickers. It will run my entire camper easily, but I don't have electric on my water heater, mine is gas only.

Howdeeee! 1st, if you want info on a generator you need to put that in your title. People up on generators will answer. Should be able to do that with a 2000/2200. Not with AC and Micro at the same time. So 3400 would be fine and run both at the same time. No need for 5500.

Thanks. Apparently I can’t edit the title. Lesson learned.

Thanks again!

Scott, did you ever end up getting a generator? If so, what did you get?

Champion 3400

After much research I went with a Champion 3400. We’ve tested with AC and all accessories and it runs like a champ.
