House power goes out when trying to start generator

When I try and start our 4.0 gas generator which is wired to house batteries (two Battleborn lithium and virtron inverter) the “converter breaker” trips and we lose house power in our 2016 Sunseeker 2290S. This breaker is the one located in the panel by the house batteries where the battery isolation manager and battery isolator relay and various fuses. This occurs even when batteries are fully charged. I then must start the engine to reset the breaker. Any ideas?
Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this question.
