Inverter beeping 2018 XLR Thunderbolt 340amp

Hello,

Two nights ago my wife and I noticed our interior lights slowly getting dimmer as we were sitting around. I went outside to find the inverter was flashing red and beeping. I assumed it was the batteries so I replaced both of them the next morning. Everything immediately returned to normal, everything showing green on the inverter and working properly. 2 days later the same thing happened. The lights began to dim and the inverter was beeping. Our RV came with a solar panel that is also wired to the batteries and usually shows 13v and change on its controller on a normal day. Right now it's only showing 9.6v. Right now I've got the inverter powered off and our AC's, fridge, outlets, TV, ect are all running and working fine without it. The inverter is a Pro Mariner Truepower 2000ps and the display reads "Low DC Shutoff".

So with that being said, does anyone have any thoughts on how I should move forward figuring out what's wrong? Do you think it's just a bad inverter? And is it going to hurt anything to run the RV with it turned off? We're not traveling with it right now, it's set up at a location for the next two years until my work contract is up.

sounds like the batteries are being drawn down. have tou used a meter to test the battery voltage? if they are discharged you need to find out why they are not being recharged. are you hooked to shore power or are you relying totally on the solar?

We are hooked up to 50A shore power.

i ask again, have you confirmed that the batteries are getting recharged? just because you are plugged into a power source does not guarantee that the batteries are getting charged.

it you are plugged into a shore power source and the lights are going dim says they are not getting power from your converter.

things to look at:
what is the status of the battery indicator lights? if the converter is working they should all be on.
reverse polarity fuses on converter
circuit breaker feeding 120 vac to the converter
have you tested the shore power pedestal you verify that it is supplying power on both hot legs?
