Inverter Issue

Just took the new 2016 FR3 DS30 out on its maiden trip to Zion National Park from Southern California. I'm somewhat irritated at the dealer for the lack of a pre delivery checkout, as we found several issues including one big safety issue, misadjusted headlights. Neither of the headlights was pointed at the roadway.

The issue bothering my daughter was that the inverter was inoperable and the generator had to be on in order for her to watch a movie.

Has anyone else ran across this and how did you resolve it?

I don't know what inverter you have. Look for an on off switch on the inverter.

It come with a converter or inverter? If converter, you won't be able to use your outlets unless you have your generator running. If you have inverter, they usually have an on off switch to save battery.

Customers need to demand a good thorough PDI or refuse to take delivery of the RV until the dealer agrees to provide one.
Too many new owners allow the dealer to get away with this and still drive off with it.

Ditto on whether your FR3 even came with an INverter.
All RVs come with CONverter but few come with an INverter.

Does the FR3 website say anything about an INverter as standard or an option?
