Inverter or No Inverter?

We are new to RVing, so bear with me if this is a stupid question.
We just purchased a 2015 Sunseeker 2300, and the manual that Forest River supplies is not only generic to all of its motorized models, but I think it assumes we know more than we do!
In the Electric section where it talks about converters and inverters, it says "If you have an inverter ..." My question, right off the bat, is -- how do we know if our model has an inverter?

don't believe anything the generic FR owner's manual says.
it is a basic manual that just goes over basic RV systems and almost never has anything specific to your model.

inverters are almost always an option and installed as an aftermarket item.

the Sunseeker home page doesn't show an inverter as a standard feature, nor does it list as an option.

it only shows a converter, which virtually all RV's come with.

Thanks Dan! Yes, we quickly discovered that the FR manual isn't worth the paper it's printed on.

many of us install a small inverter. i installed a 400w inverter next to the tv stand/hookups, so we can use the lcd tv and dvd player without shore power. also to recharge our electronic devices.
