Juice Pack Solar Fuse Issue

We have a 2021 23MK. This unit came with the 'Juice Pack' as a maintainer for the battery. There is an inline fuse under the camper between the panel on the roof and the controller in the storage hatch. Also on that run is the light for the storage area. In the last year I've replaced that inline fuse 3 times now and it has gone out again. I have a few other things that we need to take it in for under warranty, but I don't have the greatest confidence in the dealer service.



Has anyone experienced something similar and figured out what was causing the fuse to go? Is there some place to start my looking in order to point the dealership in the right direction or to make a more specific request that they 'can't duplicate the issue' and don't resolve it?


It went out once while we were dry camping and luckily weren't dependent on that for the fridge (which is supposed to last for three days with the Juice Pack). Now the bigger issue is battery maintenance at the storage facility and no light in the storage hatch!

When I installed my Dc-Dc charger in the front storage compartment on mine i was horrified by what I saw. There were connections that were crimped and the wires just pulled apart by wiggling the wire.
I replaced all the connections I could find back there and ran a new wire with no splices from the solar controller to the battery bus bar under the trailer. Also installed a 10 amp resettable fuse inside the storage compartment so it was easy to get at and I didn’t have to crawl under the trailer.
I’m betting it’s Probley a short or a bad connection that’s causing your breaker to blow.
Could be a bad controller as well.
You can test the volts and amps the solar is putting out with a multi meter at the fuse.

If it is the Juice Pack with the Waaree controller, there's a good chance it is mis-wired. Seems like a lot of them are coming that way. It still shouldn't blow that fuse, but there's no telling what they've done under there until you go have a good look at it.
