Smile LED Light Bulbs Found

Hello to all . We found our LED 921/912 and 194/168 for our Flagstaff A frame camper at the Iowa 80 Truck stop yesterday.
Do not know if we I got a good buy but as we are close to going out on our first trip for the year decided to buy. Cost of these for the 921 (2 in pack) was $13.99 & the 194 (2 in pack ) was $12.99
Thought I would let all know in case close to the biggest truck stop.
A great place to look & the also have a nice museum.
Be safe & everyone have a great camping year.

Not sure if they are the same but I just ordered a pair of 921 LED bulbs from Amazon for $5.99 - got good reviews, and they arrive tomorrow, I'll let you know how well they work!

Try EBay. This is 20 of the 194 bulbs for $8.31.

20 Pcs Super White T10 Wedge 5 SMD 5050 LED Light Bulbs W5W 2825 158 192 168 194 | eBay

Don't be scared, it's even a US seller. That's 42 cents per bulb, and very likely made in the same factory with the same lumens ratings as your $6 bulb.

Just ordered one of those, Spikedog, thanks! Let's see how they work, even if a few are DOA, still a good deal!

The 5 x 5050 bulbs will not be nearly bright enough.
I use the 24x 5050 warm white bulbs and really like them. Bought the off the Bay from china with no issues.

You are indeed correct. I received the bulbs and they are not very bright. Ironically, it worked or well because there are a few areas where we wanted less glaring lights, like next to the bed, over the kids' bunks, etc so it was not a total waste

Steve, we're talking about LED bulbs, not the old incandescent ones still available in most stores. Even when we find LED bulbs in stores, the price is far higher than the old style.

Oh,, the dreaded LED light thread... I bought several types and tried them. But I want what I want and ended up spending $60 per dual light fixture for 8 light fixtures and $27 per for a few single fixtures. They dim, you can turn single side on or both of course for the dual fixtures. If you turn them up it looks like a show room in the camper. They can get that bright. Or turn em down and it's just barely enough to see, and anywhere in between.

But, I get fixated on effect an ignore cost a lot of times.

I've been searching every post I can find on changing my C921 blub to an LED for our 2005 FR Forester. I ordered the T10194168W5W921 5050S from e-bay, they would not fit in the hole the C921 came out of. I ordered the GRV T10 Wedge 921 194 25-3528 SMD from Amazon could not get them in the hole either. Both had reviews that said they were direct replacements for the C921. Am I doing something wrong when I try to put them in? Should I shove harder or something? Or are they just the wrong LED? Please would appreciate some feedback. Cheryl
