LED Lights Under Awning 2018 Salem 27DBK

First the switch in the trailer stopped working the lights, only the remote. Now 2/3 of the strip stopped working, then last nite out couldn't get the remaining lites off and had to pull the fuse.

Anyone have these issues?

Any clues on what to do?

Maybe break out the Coleman Lantern?

If a 2018 coach is still under factory warranty or additional warranty coverage was purchased, take it to an authorized repair facility and get it fixed.

Otherwise if it was my coach, I would eliminate the remote function and control the awning LED’s with a simple on/off switch only. Until the awning light control circuity is inspected and tested by a qualified technician, anything could be at fault. I suspect anything other than a simple switch could be the cause of the problem, possibly low voltage from the remote-control unit causing everything to be FUBAR.

I never had such an issue with a simple on/off switch and good coach batteries.
