Apparently Battle Born does not think it's harmful enough to worry about it because they've told me on more than one occasion to just keep them at 100% SOC......

The battery's BMS will manage this for you. You do not have to micromanage LFP batteries.

They must have changed their recommendations since I bought mine 3+ years ago.

Their recommendation was to charge to 100% and then disconnect batteries if storing for any extended period ( more than just a few weeks).

Then charge every 6 months. While disconnected they will self discharge some but at a fraction of the rate that occurs with lead/acid.

Mine never sit unused more than 60 days or so during the coldest part of our winter so the rest of the time they are discharged and charged fairly regular.

FWIW. The instructions from Chevrolet for my Volt is to leave it plugged in even if not used for a while. Going on six years with it plugged in and no noticable decrease in battery performance. Sometimes it will sit a couple months while I'm tugging the trailer around the countryside with my truck.

Can you provide a reference to that information? I'm not challenging your assertion. I like to read documentation to understand the context of the statement.
