LiFePO4 charge paraameters. progresive dynamice chargers.

as I research chargers I see the Progressive Dynamics series say this;
They list LIPO4 not LiFePO4 as charges

PD9180AVL

Output: 14.6 Volts VDC 80-Amps

PD9160AVL
Output: 14.6 Volts VDC 60-Amps
Note: Units manufactured in 2021 have 2 stages. This applies to the PD9160ALV only. The second stage drops the voltage to 13.6 after The battery is fully charged.

The question is are these compatible with LiFePO4?

The two stage one is.

I had issues with the idea of using the one stage one, and went with the wfco lithium because of this.

Maybe PD heard my concerns??

You might want to contact Progressive Dynamics for a definitive answer: https://www.progressivedyn.com/contact/

Yes. BB says:
"The 12V Battle Born Batteries sit comfortably right in the middle of these ranges. We recommend a bulk and absorption voltage of 14.4 V. A float is unnecessary, since li-ion batteries do not leak charge, but a floating voltage under 13.6 V is fine.

According to an e-mail exchange with Battleborn, LiFeO4 batteries do "leak charge". They have a self discharge rate like Lead Acid but it's a only 1-2% versus the 4-6% for L/A.

For storage BB recommends to charge fully then disconnect batteries. No need to recharge for 6 months. The "Float" issue pertains more to those who spend most of their time hooked up in campgrounds and then having a "float" voltage around 13.6 is beneficial. Or, just disconnect batteries when fully charged and run off the Converter while plugged in.

This Will Prowse video with the CEO of BB explains the process in detail. He states that BB batteries don't leak below 13.3 volts and that the only important thing regarding storage SOC is not to store your BBs if completely depleted.

I'm in the process of installing a PD9160ALV 2-stage converter now.

Replacing my current PD4655L Wildkat 1-stage converter.

I'm changing because the new deck mount will accept 2 AWG wire, not necessarily because it's 2-stage.

The 2-stage still charges in bulk mode at 14.6V for a minimum of 1 hr before dropping to float, based on battery voltage and current.

Since my two BattleBorn batteries charge in less than an hour, the internal BMS will still have to cut the charge, so I'll charge them just like I do currently - watch my Victron BMV-712 and as the charge current tapers close to zero I will manually disconnect the batteries at 100% SOC.

People get too hung up on 2-stage charger in my opinion. If the convertor would switch to float mode once the charge amps approach 0A and not have the 1-hour time constraint then I wouldn't have to depend on the batteries BMS, of course, they're there to prevent overcharging so I'm not too hung up on them cutting charge. But if I can do the job for them I figure that's less work for the batteries to be doing.
