My hard earned money is on the cooling fan.
There known to stop working then the converter over heats and sends out smoke signal s.o.s

Every trailer we've had have had the WFCO and never had a problem with any of them. Of course, we use minimal 12v lights, so the only thing pulling 12v are the appliance control boards. Very seldom even use the water pump.
PLUS, I just changed all the lights to the LED's that Capt. Mike gave me in Goshen, so the load is reduced even more if we use the 12v lights.

Wonder if Zhanna has had a thunderstorm since they put the new battery in? They could have recieved a surge or spike from a lightning strike that took the board out.
I had a WFCO that overheated during the winter a few years back. It overheated when a sorry mouse tried squeezing between the converter board and the heat sync. Well, the mouse found some warmth from the winter temps. Fried him and my converter board. I realized there was a problem when I heard the same alarm screaming that Zhanna heard earlier today.

I'm not very far from her, at least in the same general area, and we've had some thunderstorms over the last few weeks, so it's possible. I've been building computers for years and sometimes....boards just crap out, so that's possible as well. My money's on the cooling fan, though.

Last and only time I saw a fried converter board it looked like the caps had failed. Dell and a few other manufacturers had a similar issue that looked like fan failures but that was because as the capacitors fried so did everything else.
Good job to all at helping out the OP. This site is really amazing. It reminds me of an old hardware store where you have a bunch of guys hanging out ready to help.

You guys! Y'all are great! 
My best guess for the burn out was operator error! I think after our last trip, we didn't properly defrost the fridge and some water got in there.
Either way, it got fixed and we had THE BEST trip we have ever had!!! I cannot thank you all enough for your help! If you're ever driving I 10 through Seguin, TX, think about me!
