Need immediate help w/ 120vAC power

I'm in a 2018 Salem hemisphere and I overloaded my system and all my plugs blew

As many remember, I'm brand new to living in a camper, I've tried everything I know. Hope somebody can help!

There's a GFI switch in the bathroom, but it's not doing anything

My microwave is out and I think my refrigerator also

My electric heater is definitely out and it's cold tonight!

When you say "all my plugs blew", are you trying to say that none of your 120v electrical outlets are not working?

What were you doing/running when you "overloaded your system"?

Have you checked the circuit breakers in your electrical panel? Are any tripped? Can you reset them?

Does the pedestal (or outlet) that you are plugged into have power?

As Rover Podder said, start here:

Your fridge and microwave are not on a GFCI so it is not the cfgi. Check the main circuit breaker in your distribution panel. Shut it off and back on. Then check the circuit breakers on the Pedestal ( shore power outlet). If your power cable plugs into the RV instead of being hardwired, check to plug to insure you have not burned the contacts.

Why not use the propane furnace for heat? It runs on 12v battery power.

What specifically have tried thus far?

Assuming that you're plugged in and not running off of battery power with an inverter (right?), start at the pedestal and then work back to the circuit breakers. Do you have a voltmeter/multimeter?

Turn supplemental heaters off.

Turn any big user off. Like the water heater.

Since all ac is off it is either the shore power or next down the line, the main breaker in the breaker panel.

What type of plug are you plugged into?

Do the lights work. If not your batteries are likely dead.

Do you have a voltmeter?

You need power to the trailer before you can reset the gfi.

What voltages are you seeing znd where? Electricity, as most know, can't normally be seen. How do some expect to figure out what they can't see? A multi meter will help ya "see" where there is power.

Maybe the word “immediate” in the thread title was a bit of an an exaggeration.

Agreed. Often times these cries for "help" turn out to be drive-bys.
