thats it! i traced every inch of wire with a multi meter and thats where the power stopped. I wish i saw this post first because i pulled it out and was going to run up to autozone and grab another. I didnt realize it had a reset button. But the reset button on mine does not stay in when pushed. it just pops back out. Ill prob just go get a new one anyway. Ill install it tomorrow after work.Thank you everyone for the help. this is a great website.

So, why did the circuit breaker pop? Are your cables tight to the battery posts? Are the cables on the correct post?

Just talking out loud, don't mind me as I hope that is it and no other issues come up.
