New micro lite battery issue

I have a 2 month old flagstaff micro lite and it had battery charging issues. We are dry camping right now and we only have lights when the generator is running. The battery kill switch has been checked. What could it be.

If you only have 12 volts when the gen. is running, then there is something up with your battery. On the tongue of your unit should be a circuit breaker, try that. Check that the battery has 12 plus volts and your bat. connections are clean and tight. You do have a multi meter?

X2^^^^ On your Micro Lite follow the positive power cable under the tongue and you will find a very small box with a tiny button on the side. That is the resettable circut breaker. Press the tiny button to reset.

Good luck

I don’t see a button. However there is a 12v fuse in series.

The 12V fuse(s) inline are for tongue jack, and either awning or slide.

The circuit breaker has a button but it's SMALL and partly hidden by the connectors attached to the stud. Feel under the crimped connectors on the end closest to the front and you should find it. At least that's where it is on my Micro Lite. It's not visible unless you put your eye almost next to the frame so you'll have to feel for it.

You can check the circuit breaker real quick to see if it's tripped. Unplug power cord, turn on light, then while someone watches the light, go to the frame mounted circuit breaker and "Jumper" it with a screwdriver blade. If the light comes on your breaker has tripped. A more professional method would be to just measure for 12 volts across the two studs on the circuit breaker. If you have 12 or more volts with a light turned on it's tripped. If the voltage is negligible (.2 volts or less) the breaker is not tripped and your problem is elsewhere. A closed breaker is just like holding the two meter test leads together.
