No 12 volts unless on shore power

I have 2014 Prime Time Tracer, Today I found out I have no 12 volts to the converter unless I am on Shore power. I have Solar system installed also with all the gadgets, like a Power Transfer switch and 2000 watt inverter , 4 6 volt AGM batteries and a Solar boost controler
If you can Help I would really apperciate it.

You probably tripped the resettable 12v fuse.
It's gray/silver and located along the A-frame. It has a tiny black button you push to reset.

Not sure I am understanding your problem, or if you are using the correct terminology.

A converter takes 120 volt AC input and converts it to 12 volt DC output.

Normally you would NOT have 12 volts TO the converter but 12 volts FROM the converter when connected to a form of shore power/generator....which it sounds from your post above is functioning correct.

This thread may help:

Check for a 12 volt cut off switch which could keep the power from getting from battery to converter.

RBQ and you mentioned the same thing I believe. It makes me realize that I do not know if I have this (I'm assuming I do) and where it is. I'm guessing very close to the battery and below it along the inside of the frame rail? Probably not immediately visible from above I would imagine.

You are right. What am I thinking?? But I still don't have 12 volts unless I am connected to shore power.
Yes when I am connected to shore power everything works, when I am just running the inverter only the 110 volts works.
there must a 12 volt switch tripped somewhere like rbq has said

You will not have 12 volts TO the converter. Are you talking about the inverter?

Still not sure it is exactly what you are stating, but here are some guesses.

Did you read the link i previously sent you, explaining the RV's two distinct electrical systems...as well as the difference between an inverter and converter?

You are saying your 12 volt DC items do not work except when on shore power, which then the converter is supplying the power for.

When not on shore power, then the 12 volt DC items do not work, is that correct?

If so, then these items will need battery 12 volt DC power to function. Your "inverter" also has to have 12 volt DC to function (which inverts it to 120 volt AC to power only the 120 volt AC items).

As others have pointed out, trace the battery wire to a possible 12 volt DC resettable circuit breaker:

This thread will show you what your are looking for and how to reset if tripped:

I found the circuit breakers, they are under the trailer inside the protective cover that runs the whole length of the trailer, thanks to your thread, I have power to both sides of the two circuit breakers I found, and they dont seem to have the push buttons like the ones in the thread other than that they look the same, its the first ones that come up the little gray box with the black base, they look like new and they are four years old.
I have 12 volts going to the inverter also The solar controller also so 12 volts , there must be another switch or fuse some where.
I sure do appreciate the pictures you sent

Check the two reversing fuses in the distribution panel if these are good. If battery was hook up in reverse, these will blow, either 30 or 40 amps. See post #2 below

Was it hidden away somewhere or right in the battery box? Care to show a picture?

Smile No 12 volt unless on shore power

Just to tell you what happened to me on this issue.
It took me a couple days to figure it out.
The negative (ground) wire from the batteries goes to frame on my 23 foot Tracer. It came loose! Wasn't making contact! I tightened it up and that solved a LOT of problems.
12 volt would work on shore power because the converter changes 110 to 12 volt and also charges the batteries.
Just wanted to Post this in case it helps someone out
