No Gen power

I have an 2014 XLR Hyprelite 29HFS with gen prep. I recently purchased an Onan and installed it. Pretty straight forward with the gen prep.

Generator starts and runs fine getting power to the transfer switch but no power to the trailer. Shore power and battery power work fine.

Is this an indication that the transfer switch is bad? Or something else?

There must be way or means for the transfer switch to switch to generator. Maybe a control lead is missing to accomplish this. Normally Generator power will transfer the switch. This could be 12 or just 110 from the generator itself to engage the relay. Model # of transfer switch might help.

usually double contact relay, need power from the gen through the contact of the normal power relay, you need a contact to hold out normal power when gen is on and vissa versa, or you can do it manually

Progressive dynamics
Model# PD5110610V

I was in there with a tester and was getting generator voltage to both sides of the switch.

I have seen so posts able these switches sticking and to tap them with something to knock them loose. It has been in the camper for a couple of years with no use. Wondering if that could be the problem

yes could be rusted, might need to pull apart and cleaned, but if you have gen power to both sides (if that is what you are saying) it must be something to do with the power not getting to the panel
