No power but I'm plugged in!

I plugged into the 50 amp plugg at the site and everything worked fine. I leave for several hours and now there is no power except from the battery. I reset every breaker, inside and the pole. Checked fuses. All ok. However my carbonmanoxid alarm is chirping. What's going on???

I would first start out at the campground pedestal and make sure there is power there. Could be a power failure or something else. Do you have a multimeter or a way to test?

Once you lost 120 volt AC power, then the 12 volt DC stuff started drawing straight from your battery since your converter wasn't functioning. If the battery gets low/drained, then the CO detector will start beeping to warn you of low 12 volt/battery power. This is a safety feature to let you know that your battery/12 volt is low and the detector may run out of power to alert you to a gas leak should it occur.

Check the circuit breakers in you distribution panel. Especially the 50A main breaker.

It where all your circuit breakers and fuses are inside the RV. This is where you would have reset the RV's inside circuit breakers you stated in your first post.

Is there a way to check it other than switching it off and on?

Do you have a generator, and if so do you have to plug the power cord into a receptacle in
The rv to get 110 power to the rv. If not then you have an automatic transfer switch.

Good deal, My Flagstaff is also around that length. Any idea what model it is, and are you positive you are plugged into the 50 amp outlet (4 prongs on the electric power cord) at the campground. If so, are you using any kind of adapter to plug in, or not?

Sorry for all the questions, but it all matters.

I'm direct plugged into the 50 amp. I even tried my 30 amp adapter, but still no power.

OK, we have a power failure somewhere. Normally you start at the campground pedestal, work thru the power cord, then to where it attaches at the RV (if applicable), then to the electrical distribution panel inside the RV.

It's going to be hard to actually troubleshoot this one without a multimeter (and knowing how to use it). The campground guy should be able to though for you, as they encounter these things a lot.

Has he been there yet?

If power light is on on you cord chances are there is a breaker tripped in your distribution panel See if the campground guy can test for 110 power at your distribution panel.
