OK, some confusion on inverter/shore power wiring

So I have a Victron Inverter (just an invertor, not multi). How do I wire this in reference to shore power? Do I need an ATS? I am getting the remote to turn it off remotely.

What model number? If it doesn't have an internal transfer switch, you should get an ATS.

That inverter series doesn't come with a built in transfer switch.

So you need to wire it to your 12v battery’s. As close as possible with a good size wire.
