onan generator 2005 Georgetown

I recently acquired a 2005 Georgetown SE 303 that has a ONAN generator that appears not to be getting gas. If I feed the carb manually from a bottle of gas it starts and runs but when hooked up to the normal hose it doesn't get any gas. We filled the motor homes tank no change. Is there anything anyone can think would affect gas flow just to the generator? separate filer ? a shut off? When you press the prime button you hear what i assume is a pump running but nothing is coming out of the fuel line.

thx in advance

The Onan genny has a dedicated fuel pump. It sometimes take more than a minute to prime the genny. Is your start switch the double throw momentary kind that when pushed on the bottom half and held illuminates to show primed and then press the top half to start? If so does it illuminate? The fuel pump may be bad.
